Grid Training Solutions

This class covers all aspects of emergency operations:  from planning, to investigating and reporting.  The emergencies will range from capacity emergencies, islanding scenarios and partial black outs.  This class provides 16 of the 32 EOPS hours required for companies by NERC PER-005-1. 

In this class, students will be given an emergency plan, specifically designed for the generic simulator, and will be tasked with determining if the plan meets the emergency standards.  They will be then be given scenarios on the generic simulator and will have to follow the emergency plan to assess, and develop a communication and restoration plan.
