Resolving Transmission Issues

This class is aimed at system operators to reinforce how the transmission system is affected by both interchange and generation schedules.

Students will be challenged to correct transmission systems issues utilizing various methods (i.e. generation patterns, interchange schedules, unscheduled flow procedure). Students will have to recognize and resolve various system problems under normal and emergency system conditions. Students will investigate how generation patterns and AGC modes can both help and hurt normal and abnormal transmission system conditions as well as how interchange schedules can affect transmission line loading at locations other than the scheduled path.

Each Student receives 16 CEH (EOPS 16, Simulation 12, Standards 16, Professional Related 16)
$700.00 per student
